The Marstek Smart Back-up Box DB63T is the advanced three-phase Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) designed to safeguard your power supply. When paired with the Marstek Venus Series, this unit ensures "Whole-Home Backup". In the event of a grid failure, the system switches to backup power in less than 1 second, keeping your 3-phase network (380V/400V) and critical appliances running smoothly.

Intelligent Power Management (Three-Phase)

The DB63T acts as the central hub between the grid, your three-phase load, and the storage system. In On-Grid mode, power is passed through to your appliances while simultaneously charging the connected Venus batteries. Upon power failure, the unit immediately activates Off-Grid mode. Thanks to the integrated Bypass Breaker, you can physically isolate the battery system for maintenance without interrupting the home's power supply.

Which inverters are compatible?

The DB63T is exclusively developed for integration with the Marstek Venus Series. For a full three-phase setup, up to 3 Venus units (1 per phase) can be connected to the Smart Box to create a balanced system.

Is the system expandable?

Yes, the Smart Box supports modular expansion via the connected Venus battery systems. You can increase storage capacity by adding extra battery modules to the individual Venus units, provided the Smart Box's maximum configuration is respected.

Safety & Installation

The housing is IP20 rated and intended for indoor installation in a ventilated area (cooling via natural convection). The system includes internal protection against overload and short circuits. Connection must be made using cables of at least 10AWG (6mm²).
