Thanks to selective optimisation, you place the optimiser only on the panels that benefit from it — the remaining panels in the string operate normally without an optimiser.

To monitor your optimised panels at module level and activate the Rapid Shutdown safety function, the Tigo communication set is required. This set consists of two components that together form the complete monitoring and safety system:

  • CCA (Cloud Connect Advanced): The data logger that collects all data from the optimisers and connects via the internet to the Tigo Intelligence Platform for module-level monitoring.
  • TAP (Tigo Access Point): The antenna that communicates wirelessly with the TS4-A-O optimisers on the roof and supplies the CCA data logger with real-time module data.
