What are the benefits of Dual Glass?
Dual glass panels consist of two layers of tempered glass (front and back) instead of glass and a plastic backsheet. This makes the panel extremely resistant to micro-cracks (caused by wind/snow), moisture ingress, and chemical influences (salt/ammonia). As a result, the panel degrades slower and lasts longer.
Inverter compatibility?
With an Imp of approx. 14A, this panel is compatible with modern string inverters from Solis and GoodWe (High Current versions). For micro-inverters (Enphase/APsystems), please check if the input current is supported.
What is shading optimization?
Aiko's 'Partial Shading Optimisation' ensures that when one cell is shaded, only that specific cell is switched off. In traditional panels, an entire row or section often drops out. This results in significantly higher yield in real-world situations with chimneys, trees, or dirt.
