What are the installation requirements?
The GW50K‑ET‑10 carries an IP66 protection rating and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. Key requirements:
- Maintain a minimum clearance of 300 mm around the unit for ventilation.
- Operating temperature range: –35 °C to +60 °C; maximum installation altitude: 4 000 m.
- Installation must be carried out by a certified electrician in accordance with local grid regulations.
- Battery communication via CAN or RS485; ensure correct termination (120 Ω) for parallel RS485 configurations.
- Internet connectivity via Wi‑Fi or LAN is required for SEMS cloud monitoring.
- A separate STS Box is required to enable the backup / UPS function.
- Use only IEC 61730‑certified PV modules.
