Why choose the Longi LR8-66HGD-620M?

This module is designed for installations where high output, strong mechanical resistance and long service life are essential. It features a maximum system voltage of 1500V DC, a maximum series fuse rating of 30A, a 2.0 + 2.0 mm glass structure and a mechanical load rating of 5400 Pa on the front side and 2400 Pa on the rear side. Its factory-fitted MC4 connectors and 4 mm² cables of approximately 1200 mm make it well suited for professional PV projects where reliability and ease of installation matter.

Please note: this panel weighs 34.6 kg and must be installed by qualified professionals. Mounting rails, clamps, bolts, grounding hardware and string cabling are not included. Use only suitable PV cable of at least 4 mm² (12 AWG), ensure correct grounding and never mix different connector brands or connector types. LONGi also recommends keeping at least 10 cm clearance from the roof or wall for ventilation and fire safety.

This panel is suitable for PV systems designed for modules with Voc 45.45 V, Isc 17.25 A and a maximum system voltage of 1500V DC. Always verify string design, input current limits, voltage limits and connector standard of the selected inverter.

What installation requirements are important?

LONGi states that installation must only be carried out by qualified installers. Use UV-resistant PV cable of at least 4 mm², ground the frame correctly, keep at least 10 cm clearance from roof or wall surfaces and avoid installation in strong wind, wet conditions or with contaminated connectors. Connectors must never be disconnected under load.
