How does the Smart Back-up Box work in the event of a power failure?

The DB63S allows you to switch to battery power almost unnoticed:

  • During normal (on-grid) operation, the full grid load runs through the pass-through, while the box continuously monitors the grid status.
  • In the event of a mains failure, the grid side is disconnected **within approximately 1 second** and the backup output supplies the selected groups via the inverter and battery.
  • After mains power is restored, the box switches back to on-grid operation in a controlled manner.
