The Dyness Tower BMS & Base Unit is the central control and protection component of your high-voltage (HV) energy storage system. This advanced Battery Distribution Unit (BDU) manages communication, safety functions and system coordination for connected Tower battery modules. The delivery also includes the reinforced Base platform for stable installation. With an IP54 protection rating, the unit supports indoor use and protected outdoor installations.

Intelligent High-Voltage Battery Management
The integrated smart BMS architecture continuously monitors voltage, current and temperature across Tower LiFePO4 modules. In the event of overload, short-circuit or abnormal thermal conditions, automatic protection protocols are activated. An integrated DC main switch supports safe isolation during service and maintenance.
- HV installation must be carried out by qualified professionals only.
- Verify configuration and voltage balance before commissioning (per manual).
- Maintain at least 200 mm clearance for ventilation.

Which systems is this BMS compatible with?
The Dyness Tower BMS communicates via CAN and RS485 with widely used high-voltage hybrid inverter platforms. Always verify compatibility and protocol settings using the latest manufacturer documentation.
How can I expand storage capacity later?
The Tower system is modular. Capacity is increased by adding additional HV battery modules between the base and the BMS unit. Supported configurations range from T7 up to T21 depending on the number of modules and the required series configuration per the installation manual.
Is the system suitable for indoor installation?
Yes. The IP54 enclosure supports installation in technical rooms, basements and garages. For outdoor placement, a sheltered location is recommended and installation should follow manufacturer requirements.
