When do I need this Combiner Box?
You need this unit when you want to connect multiple Dyness Tower battery systems (clusters) in parallel to increase total storage capacity. One box supports a maximum of 5 towers.
Can I install this outdoors?
Yes, the Combiner Box has an IP65 rating. This means the housing is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets, making outdoor installation possible.
Is the unit compatible with all Tower models?
Yes, but the installation method differs crucially per model:
1. Tower (T-Series): Both power (DC) and communication cables are connected via the Combiner Box.
2. Tower Pro (TP-Series): Only the DC power cables may run through the Combiner Box. The communication cables (CAN/RS485) must be connected in a direct 'Daisy Chain' between the modules to prevent signal interference and system errors. Read more about the mandatory Daisy Chain installation here.
