What is this kit for?
If you are expanding an Anker Solix X1 system beyond 15-20 kWh, or if the installation space is too low for a single tall tower, you place the batteries in two columns side by side. This kit connects the main tower (with inverter) electrically and data-wise to the second battery column.
Is special tooling required?
Yes, standard installation tools (crimping tool) are required for correctly crimping the RJ45 connectors and MC4-type DC connectors, as is common in PV installations.
