Is 5kWh enough for my situation?
5kWh is an excellent baseline for an average household to cover nighttime consumption. The great advantage of the Solix X1 is its modularity: you can easily add extra 5kWh modules later (up to 6 units / 30kWh) without technical complications, thanks to the built-in energy optimizers per module.
Is this system suitable for dynamic tariffs?
Absolutely. The Anker Solix software is designed to act intelligently on the energy market. The system can automatically charge at low/negative prices and discharge at high prices. This is essential for a short payback period.
Can I install this system outdoors?
Yes, the Solix X1 is one of the few systems with a full IP66 rating. It withstands rain, dust, and extreme temperatures (-25°C to 60°C). The C5 corrosion coating protects the housing even in coastal areas.
