Which batteries work with this inverter?
The X1-H4.6K-S is part of the closed Anker Solix ecosystem. It works exclusively with the Anker Solix X1 battery modules (5kWh LFP). This ensures a plug-and-play installation, optimal safety, and the highest possible system efficiency without compatibility issues.
Is this system future-proof?
Yes. With feed-in tariffs decreasing, self-consumption is crucial. This inverter can handle up to 9.2 kW of solar power and store it directly in the battery before it hits the grid. Thanks to the <10ms switchover time, you also have a full-fledged emergency power supply, making you less dependent on the power grid.
How much battery capacity can I connect?
The system is modular and scalable. You can start with one 5 kWh module and stack it up to a maximum of 30 kWh (6 modules) on this single inverter. This makes it easy to grow your storage with your energy needs (e.g., when purchasing a heat pump or EV).
How do I install this system?
The system is designed for flexible installation: both floor and wall mounting are possible with the included brackets. Thanks to the IP66 rating, the unit can also be mounted outdoors.
