The BYD Battery-Box Premium LVS 12.0 is a robust 48V (Low Voltage) energy storage system with a usable capacity of 12.0 kWh. This set includes the Power Distribution Unit (PDU) and three stacked LVS battery modules. Thanks to the safe Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) technology and the patented internal plug connection, this system offers maximum flexibility and safety without complex wiring between modules. It is designed for both On-Grid and Off-Grid applications.

Technical Performance & Off-Grid Capability
The LVS 12.0 stands out for its high discharge power. With a nominal current of 195 A, this system is capable of supporting heavy household appliances or full off-grid island operation. The modules are cobalt-free and meet the strictest safety standards (VDE2510-50). The IP55 enclosure allows for installation in various environments. Note during installation: one battery module weighs 45 kg and the control unit (PDU) 19 kg; always lift with two people.

Delivery is split into multiple packages due to weight:

- 3x Battery Module Package (3x 45kg): 3 units of LVS battery modules (4 kWh each).
Which inverters are compatible with the LVS 12.0?
As a Low Voltage (48V) system, the LVS works perfectly with market leaders in the low voltage segment. We recommend:
- Victron Energy: MultiPlus and Quattro series (Ideal for Off-grid/ESS).
- Solis: RAI / RHI 48V series.
- GoodWe: ES / EM / SBP series.

Can I expand this system later?
Yes, the LVS is extremely scalable. You can expand up to 6 modules (24.0 kWh) within a single tower. Additionally, you can connect up to 16 towers in parallel for a massive total capacity of 256 kWh. Expansion is possible at any time.
Is installation safe?
The system is VDE2510-50 certified and uses LFP chemistry, which is considered the safest on the market. The patented plug design eliminates internal wiring errors. However, due to the heavy weight of the modules (45kg each), installation must always be performed by two people or with lifting aids.
