What is included in the package?
The delivery of the BYD Battery-Box Premium LVS 8.0 includes:
- 2x LVS Battery Module: 4 kWh each (Note: 45 kg per module).
- 1x LVS PDU + Base: Power Distribution Unit and base (19 kg).
- Accessories: Connectors for DC and communication, wall brackets, and documentation.
Which inverters are compatible?
The LVS series is a 48V (Low Voltage) system. It requires compatible single-phase or three-phase LV inverters. We recommend:
- Solis: S6 Series Low Voltage Hybrid models.
- GoodWe: ES, EM, and SBP Series (Low Voltage).
Note: This system does not work with High Voltage inverters. Always consult the compatibility list.
Is the system expandable?
Yes, the LVS is extremely flexible. You can expand up to 6 modules (24.0 kWh) within a single tower. Additionally, you can connect up to 16 towers in parallel for a total capacity of 256 kWh. Expansion is possible at any time, regardless of the system's age.
Does this battery provide backup power?
Yes, thanks to its high discharge current capacity and Low Voltage architecture, the LVS 8.0 is excellent for backup power and off-grid applications. When paired with a suitable hybrid inverter, it can power essential loads during grid outages, ensuring energy independence.
