The BYD Battery-Box HVB 11.8 is the ideal home battery for households with high energy consumption, a heat pump, or an electric vehicle. With a net capacity of 11.88 kWh and a high voltage of 204.8V, this system guarantees maximum efficiency and minimal conversion losses.

Which inverters is this system compatible with?
BYD Battery-Box systems are optimized for hybrid 3-phase inverters. We recommend:
- Solis: S6/S5 series for seamless communication.
- GoodWe: ET series for high performance.
- Other brands: Fronius, SMA, Kostal (always check the latest compatibility list).
What about the warranty?
The BYD HVB series comes with an exceptional factory warranty of 15 years. This is significantly longer than the market standard. View the official Warranty Letter for details.
Is this battery suitable for Time-of-Use tariffs?
Certainly. With almost 12 kWh capacity, you can use a very large part of your solar power yourself (increasing "self-consumption" from 30% to 70%+). This avoids buying expensive grid power. Additionally, the battery is perfectly suited for trading on the imbalance market or optimizing Time-of-Use tariffs.
