Why is this specific connector needed for LVS?
The BYD LVS system operates on low voltage (48V). To deliver the same power as high-voltage systems, the current (Amperage) must be much higher. Standard connectors cannot safely handle these high loads without overheating. These PDU connectors are specifically designed to securely connect large diameter cables (up to 50mm²) to the Power Distribution Unit.
