The GoodWe GW5000N‑EH Plus+ is a single‑phase hybrid inverter with 5000 W output for residential solar and home battery storage. With two independent MPPT inputs (each up to 12.5 A), a wide battery voltage range of 80–900 V and an integrated EPS emergency output, this inverter is the core of a flexible and future‑proof energy system. Thanks to its IP65 protection rating, the inverter is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. Included in the delivery: GoodWe GM1000 smart energy meter and 1 CT (current transformer).

The GW5000N‑EH Plus+ combines a compact design with professional performance. The two independent MPPT inputs provide flexibility when connecting panels on different roof orientations or tilt angles. The EPS function guarantees uninterrupted power supply during grid outages with a switching time of less than 16 ms. Via RS485 communication and the SEMS cloud portal, you always have full insight into your energy production and consumption. The included GM1000 smart meter and CT enable accurate energy measurement right out of the box – no additional hardware required.

Please note: The GW5000N‑EH Plus+ requires a compatible high‑voltage battery (80–900 V). Standard GW‑EH series low‑voltage batteries are not compatible. Consult the compatibility list or contact your installer for the correct battery selection.

Which batteries are compatible with the GW5000N‑EH Plus+?

The GW5000N‑EH Plus+ is compatible with high‑voltage batteries (80–900 V) including: GoodWe Lynx Home, Lynx F and Lynx Premium, Dyness Stack 280, BYD Battery‑Box Premium HVS/HVM, CATL, Pylontech Phantom‑S and other BMS‑compatible high‑voltage systems. What are the installation requirements?

Thanks to its IP65 protection rating, the GW5000N‑EH Plus+ is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. Maintain at least 300 mm clearance around the inverter for ventilation. Maximum ambient temperature is 60 °C. Installation must be carried out by a certified electrician in accordance with local grid connection regulations. Battery communication is via RS485; cloud connection via Wi‑Fi or LAN. For parallel systems, place a 120 Ω termination resistor on the last RS485 port.
