This plug-in module activates full cloud-based system governance for Fidus PRO battery clusters by establishing secure wireless connectivity directly through the integrated battery interface.

Cloud-Based Lifecycle Control for Professional Energy Assets

Operating via WiFi (2.4 GHz), the module establishes encrypted data transmission between the battery system and its designated cloud platform. This enables structured performance tracking, preventive diagnostics, and controlled firmware maintenance without physical intervention. For defined cluster hierarchy, one WiFi Kit per Master battery is required within each battery stack. The module operates in parallel with the primary CAN/RS485 inverter communication and does not replace direct inverter control pathways.

You need one WiFi Kit per Master battery. Each Master battery governs its respective cluster. Independent clusters require individual modules to maintain structured monitoring and data separation.

Is the WiFi Kit required for system operation?

The battery system operates without the WiFi Kit. However, remote supervision, firmware lifecycle management, and professional diagnostics require the module for full operational oversight.

Does the WiFi Kit affect battery performance?

No. The WiFi Kit functions exclusively as a data communication interface. It has no impact on charging current, discharge capacity, or usable battery energy.
