How many WiFi Kits do I need?
You need one WiFi Kit per 'Master' battery. A Master battery controls a cluster of linked batteries. If you have a single tower of 4 batteries, you only need 1 Kit (for the top/main battery). If you have two separate systems, you need 2 Kits.
Is the WiFi Kit required for the Fidus PRO system to operate?
No, the system will operate without it, but the WiFi Kit is highly recommended. Without it, you lose remote visibility, the ability to receive automatic firmware updates, and the option for remote troubleshooting, which is critical for long-term maintenance and warranty validation.
Can I use this with any inverter?
The WiFi Kit provides data connectivity for the battery itself. For power operation, the battery must be paired with a compatible Low Voltage inverter (e.g., Solis, GoodWe, Victron). The WiFi Kit does not replace the communication cable between the battery and the inverter; it runs parallel to it for cloud monitoring.
