Due to their physical dimensions, these CT clamps are not suitable for installation in a standard residential distribution board. This bundle is intended exclusively for connections where the primary current exceeds 100A — typically for hybrid inverters rated at 12 kW or higher, or for high-capacity commercial connections. Can I replace the 300A CT clamps with 100A CT clamps?
No. The SDM630MCT V2 only operates correctly when the correct CT ratio is configured in the meter. The primary current of the CT must match the actual maximum current at the connection point. Use only CT clamps suitable for the connected installation and configure the primary current in accordance with the installation manual.
