Can I replace the 100A current transformers with 300A current transformers?

No — not without reconfiguring the CT ratio in the meter. The SDM630MCT only operates correctly when the correct CT ratio is configured in the meter. The primary current of the current transformer must match the actual maximum current at the connection point. Using an incorrect CT ratio results in measurement errors and incorrect Zero-Feed-In control. For installations where the primary current exceeds 100A — typically for hybrid inverters rated at 12 kW or higher — the SDM630MCT Bundle with 300A current transformers is the correct choice. Always select a current transformer that matches the maximum current of the installation and configure the correct CT ratio according to the installation manual.

How do I configure Self-Consumption mode with the SDM630MCT?

Set the inverter to Self-Consumption mode. The SDM630MCT transmits real-time grid import data to the inverter via Modbus RTU over RS485. The hybrid inverter then discharges the battery to keep consumption behind the meter at exactly zero — also known as Zero-Feed-In control or export limitation.
