The Solis FlexHome-BAT5kWh-H is a modular 5 kWh LiFePO4 high-voltage home battery module for the FlexHome energy storage system. With a cell capacity of 100 Ah, 100% DoD and an IP66 protection rating, this module forms the basis for scalable storage configurations from 15 kWh to 160 kWh in combination with the FlexHome BMS and compatible Solis hybrid inverters.

How is the capacity of the FlexHome system expanded?

By stacking multiple FlexHome-BAT5kWh-H modules, a system capacity of 15 kWh to 40 kWh per stack is achievable. Via parallel configurations, a total system capacity of up to 160 kWh can be realised. Each module delivers 5 kWh nominal at 100% DoD. Please refer to the manual for the maximum stacking configuration and wiring requirements.

Which BMS is required for the FlexHome-BAT5kWh-H?

The FlexHome-CB50A-H BMS is mandatory for safe and correct system operation. It handles cell balancing, temperature protection, communication via CAN/RS485 and control of all battery modules. The system must not be operated without this BMS — incorrect configuration may result in system failure or permanent damage.
