The Solis S6-EA3P10KAA-NV-ND-H is a three-phase high-voltage AC-coupled inverter with a rated output of 10 kW, designed for residential and light-commercial energy storage projects where an existing PV installation is extended with battery storage. The inverter works with high-voltage Li-ion batteries in the voltage range of 120–600 V DC and communicates via CAN or RS485. Thanks to its transformerless topology, natural cooling and IP66 protection, the system is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. The inverter supports Time-of-Use tariffs, peak shaving and up to 6 configurable charge/discharge time slots.

AC coupling: adding battery storage to an existing PV installation
The S6-EA3P10KAA-NV-ND-H is specifically designed for AC-coupled retrofit projects: the existing grid-tied PV inverter is retained and connected to the Solis via the AC input. The Solis then manages the battery, energy flows and — when correctly configured — export limitation. In addition to the AC-coupled installation, new PV strings can be added via external DC inverters, provided the electrical values remain within the specifications.
The included Eastron SDM630MCT three-phase energy meter (with CT) is required for correct self-consumption control, export limitation and monitoring. During installation, verify the meter position, measurement direction, phase sequence and RS485 addressing.

Which batteries are compatible with the Solis S6-EA3P10KAA-NV-ND-H?
The inverter supports high-voltage Li-ion batteries in the voltage range of 120–600 V DC via CAN or RS485. How does peak shaving work with the Solis S6-EA3P10KAA-NV-ND-H?
In peak shaving mode, the inverter limits grid import power to a configurable maximum value (P_max). The system charges the battery to a set peak SOC and discharges when consumption exceeds the threshold. If the combined discharge capacity and P_max are insufficient for the load, the threshold is temporarily exceeded to support the load. In addition to peak shaving, the inverter supports Time-of-Use tariffs with up to 6 configurable charge/discharge time slots and VPP remote control.
What are the installation requirements for the Solis S6-EA3P10KAA-NV-ND-H?
Installation by certified electricians only, in accordance with applicable national standards. The inverter must be mounted vertically (max. ±5° deviation) on a load-bearing wall or structure. Maintain a minimum clearance of 200 mm around the inverter for ventilation. Avoid direct sunlight on the inverter. Battery cable cross-section: 10 mm² / 8 AWG. AC cable cross-section: 6 mm², strip length 7 mm. Earth connection via OT cable lug M4, torque 2 N·m. Please consult the installation manual for all installation requirements.
