The Solis IntelliHome-16kWh-OD is a 16 kWh LiFePO4 low-voltage home battery for residential energy storage, developed by SolisStorage for installation in combination with Solis low-voltage hybrid inverters. With an operating voltage range of 44.8–57.6V, a cell capacity of 314 Ah, a recommended charge and discharge current of 157A, an integrated heating film for charging and discharging down to −20°C and an IP66 protection rating, this system is suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor installations. The system is expandable to a maximum of 8 units in parallel for a total storage capacity of 128 kWh.

Solis IntelliHome-16kWh-OD — specifications and advantages

The bracket supplied as standard with the 16 kWh battery is exclusively an anti-tilt bracket for floor mounting. This bracket prevents the battery from tipping forward and is not designed to bear the weight of the battery on a wall.
Therefore, never use this bracket for wall mounting. Doing so may cause the battery to detach and fall.
For safe wall mounting, a separate, optional wall mounting bracket is required. Order this additionally when the battery is to be wall-mounted.

Which Solis inverters are compatible with the IntelliHome-16kWh-OD?
The IntelliHome-16kWh-OD is compatible with Solis low-voltage hybrid inverters (48V) via CAN/RS485. Supported single-phase series include the S6-EH1P(3–6)K-L-EU, S6-EH1P(3–6)K-L-Smart, S6-EH1P(3–10)K-L-PLUS, S6-EH1P(9.9–18)K03-NV-YD-L and S5-EH1P. For three-phase applications, the S6-EH3P(8–18)K02-NV-YD-L and S6-EH3P(7–10)K02-LV-YD-L series are relevant. In addition, the S6-EA1P(3.6–6)K-L, S6-EO1P(4–6)K-48 and S6-EO1P(4–5)K-48-EU are supported. Compatibility depends on the exact inverter model and firmware version. Always refer to the most recent compatibility list before installation.
Can the IntelliHome-16kWh-OD be floor-mounted?
Yes. The IntelliHome-16kWh-OD is suitable for both wall mounting and floor mounting. Given the weight of 126 kg, floor mounting is often preferred for a stable and safe installation. In both cases, the unit must be firmly anchored using the supplied robust wall bracket to prevent tipping. The system operates at altitudes up to 4,000 m (derating above 2,000 m) and is suitable for installation in technical rooms, garages and sheltered outdoor locations thanks to its IP66 protection rating. Installation must be carried out exclusively by certified electrical installers in accordance with the SolisStorage installation manual.
