The Solis IntelliHome-16kWh-OD is a 16 kWh LiFePO4 low-voltage home battery for residential energy storage, developed by SolisStorage for use in combination with Solis low-voltage hybrid inverters. With an operating voltage range of 44.8–57.6V, a cell capacity of 314 Ah, a recommended charge and discharge current of 157A, an integrated heating film for charging and discharging down to −20°C and an IP66 protection rating, this system is suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor installations. The system is expandable to a maximum of 8 units in parallel for a total storage capacity of 128 kWh.

Supported single-phase series include the S6-EH1P(3–6)K-L-EU, S6-EH1P(3–6)K-L-Smart, S6-EH1P(3–10)K-L-PLUS, S6-EH1P(9.9–18)K03-NV-YD-L and S5-EH1P. How does the integrated heating function of the IntelliHome-16kWh-OD work?
When the cell temperature drops below 0°C, the system automatically activates the integrated heating film. The cells are warmed to above 10°C to enable safe and efficient charging and discharging at ambient temperatures down to −20°C. The system therefore operates reliably in cold environments such as unheated garages, technical rooms and sheltered outdoor locations. The heating function uses a small amount of energy from the inverter — no external heating solution is required. Above 45°C, automatic derating activates to protect the cells.
