The Dyness Tower S3 BMS & Base Unit is the central management platform of the Dyness Tower S3 high-voltage (HV) energy storage system. This Battery Disconnect Unit (BDU) handles intelligent communication, real-time monitoring and active system balancing of all connected Tower S3 battery modules. The package includes both the BMS controller and the Base for stable and secure ground-mount deployment. With an IP54 protection rating, this system is suitable for installation in technical rooms, garages or sheltered outdoor environments.

Installation requirements — please read before ordering:
  • Installation must be carried out exclusively by qualified HV installers in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
  • Important: Tower S3 components must never be mixed or combined with older Tower T-series (1.5G) modules or BMS units — this will result in system malfunctions and loss of warranty.
  • Maintain a minimum ventilation clearance of 100 to 200 mm from the back wall and adjacent equipment during installation.

Which inverters are compatible with the Tower S3 BMS?

The Tower S3 series communicates seamlessly via CAN/RS485 with a wide range of leading HV inverters, including Solis, GoodWe, Ingeteam, Solplanet, SAJ, DEYE, Hoymiles and SOLINTEG. Please consult the user manual or contact us for the most up-to-date compatibility list.

Can I mix Tower S3 components with the older Tower T-series?

No. Connecting or mixing Tower S3 components with the older Tower T-series (1.5G) is strictly prohibited and will result in system malfunctions and loss of warranty. The S3 series uses specific HV9637S battery modules and a fully redesigned BDU topology that is not compatible with the T-series.

How many battery modules can be stacked on this BMS & Base?

Per tower configuration, a minimum of 2 modules (TS7 – 7.10 kWh) and a maximum of 6 modules (TS21 – 21.31 kWh) can be stacked. For larger projects, up to 12 complete towers can be connected in parallel for a maximum system capacity of 255.72 kWh.
